Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stressed, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. 

 An amazingly simple technique to learn, the ability to use Reiki is not taught in the usual sense but is transferred to the student from the Reiki Master during classes. This ability is passed on during an "attunement" given by a Reiki master and allows the student to tap into an unlimited supply of "life force energy" to improve one's health and enhance the quality of life.  Absent or distance healings are the key teachings in the Okuden class.

You’ll learn the Reiki Symbols that allow healing to be directed to the emotional and mental aspects of a person and across time and space. You can use this to do healing work no matter where the recipient is physically located in the world.

Additionally, you will learn your application of the distance symbol so you can do distant treatments for people and situations that have occurred in past, present, and future.

The second Reiki Attunement deepens your connection to the universal source of all life energy and strengthens your ability to channel that energy. You’ll be shown the three symbols and their mantras so you can consciously learn to make use of them. At this level, you will deepen your personal growth and transformation.
